Snake Ladies and Samurai Swords (Ninja Scroll Review)

If you know anything about Japanese animation, you have definitely seen a film by the legendary Studio Ghibli. The work of Hayao Miyazaki is so prolific and consistently excellent that many have referred to him as the "Walt Disney of Japan." While the work of Studio Ghibli is undeniably influential, its quality is a double edged Samurai sword, on the sharp side it introduces viewers to the world of Anime, on the dull side it might prevent viewers from branching out beyond itself. Digging a little deeper into the world of Anime films viewers might discover the diverse wealth of quality. Not to say that the works of Studio Ghibli are in any way inferior to these other films, but too much of one thing can perhaps stunt the viewer’s knowledge. From the surreal dream-like films of Satoshi Kon, to the pure adrenaline rush of movies such as Redline there is always something new to discover. Today I want to talk about the film Ninja Scroll.

Captain America: Civil War Review/Rant

Captain America: Civil War is the latest of successes for Marvel Studios. Boasting a giant ensemble comprised of characters from almost all of Marvel's previous films, this movie is packed to the brim with characters you know and love. I mean unless you only like Hulk and Thor, or the Guardians of the Galaxy. But otherwise this film has you covered. I mean they even have Spiderman and Black Panther. But is this movie as amazing as everyone says it is? Let's find out.

Nintendo? More like Nintendon't. Heh, heh, 80s joke. (Wii Play review)

Well this was going to happen sooner or later, I was gonna have to review some of the Wii's "Wii" titles, so why not start with one that is stupid. Today I'm reviewing Wii Play.

How Pixar changed the world of animation forever. (Toy Story review)

It is so amazing to see just how far we have come in terms of technology. Just twenty years ago the first fully computer animated movie came out. It would go on to earn over $361 million worldwide, as well as changing the medium of animation forever. Join me as I look at back at the animated classic: Toy Story.

Kung Fury Hype! (Theories, Release date, David Hasselhoff.)

About a year ago I found out about a little Kickstarter project by the name of Kung fury.

Its basically a tribute to all 80's B-movies, and I'm way to excited for it. The premise is about a Renegade cop in 80's with Kung fu super powers, who must be hacked back in time to defeat Adolf Hitler (a.k.a. Kung Fuhrer.)

Why I like F-Zero better than Mario Kart.

Now I know that its not February anymore, but I ran out of time. And there a still a few posts I wanted to make, so here you go.

Mario Kart, everybody loves Mario Kart. Well except me.

I've never really cared for Mario Kart, its just never appealed to me. Maybe its just because I don't like Mario himself as a character, or that his games just aren't for me. Heck I wasn't even aware of Mario until I played Super Smash Bros. for the first time. I grew up on games like Warcraft, and Starcraft which require a great deal of multitasking, making quick decisions, and strategy. Fun Fact: Warcraft was the first word I ever learned to spell.

I always knew pop up books were cool! (Tengami review.)

If I were to sum up Tengami with one word it would be "Artistic." I some ways I hesitate to call it a game. Because really there isn't that much of a game here. It is more of an experience, and I am here to tell you about it.

TOOOOO FAAAASSSTTT!!!! (F-Zero review.)

F-Zero is perhaps one of the most underrated Nintendo franchises. It probably would help though if they actually released a game every once and awhile. I really afraid that this series is dead, I've nearly lost all hope of a new F-Zero game coming out. But maybe if I could get more people excited about F-Zero then we can finally see another installment.

Its almost February!

Last year around this time I came up with the idea of devoting the month of February to one of my favorite video games: Fire Emblem. But there was also this movie you guys might of heard of that I also covered during that month. That movie didn't do well at all, and now has faded into obscurity, (I wish.)

So know I'm going to be doing something a little different this year. I will be covering two of my favorite video game franchises. BEHOLD!!!

See you on the race track!

Have Fun!
