Top ten ridiculously powerful fire emblem characters.

Well it's February 1st so I guess it's time to Start Frozen Fire emblem February. Kinda wish I gave myself time to actually write all of my posts before it started, but I guess I'm just lazy.

Anyway the title says it all. Today I'm going to be counting down the top ten ridiculously powerful fire emblem characters.

To make things a little harder on myself I'm making two rules for this top ten.

First I can't have any lords on this list, as they tend to be really powerful anyway.

And secondly I can't have more than three characters from the same game in the series.

With that said lets get started.

#10

Tibarn from Fire emblem: Path of Radiance.

Tibarn is a Raven that is extremely powerful. While he does have pretty crappy growth rates on his stats, his base stats are so amazing he really doesn't even need to get higher stats. The only real reason I put him this low on the list is the fact that he joins on the last level of the game. So good luck getting to use him very long.

#9

Dart from Fire emblem: Rekka no Ken.

Dart is the only Pirate you get in Fire emblem 7, as well as the best axe user if your not counting Hector. When he joins he may be a little under leveled, but it shouldn't take long very long to level him.

I think my biggest problem is his skill, he only has a 20% chance for it gain a point every level. Skill is probably one of the most important skills in the game, as it allows you to have a higher chance of hitting your opponents. The problem is that a high leveled Dart can kill most units in one or two hits, so you tend to risk letting him get hit so that he can kill a unit. But because of his crappy skill he ends up being a bit of a glass cannon, as he will take more damage because he doesn't always deliver the killing blow.

No.

#8

Reyson from Fire emblem: Path of Radiance.

This one is a bit of a stretch. Reyson isn't really a super powerful character in the traditional sense, as he has some pretty subpar stats and can't attack. But Reyson is really awesome he sort of works like a dancer. Dancers in Fire emblem can dance for units that have already moved allowing them to move a second time. Combine this with the fact that Reyson can do this for four different units at the same time and you have a pretty powerful unit.

Just to let you know, if you ever play Path of Radiance always use Reyson.

#7

Florina from Fire emblem: Rekka no Ken.

Florina is the first flying unit you get in Fire emblem 7, she is also one of the best. In the beginning she may appear to be really fragile, and she is kinda. She is pretty weak against axes, and Archers just murder her. But if you let her get the killing blow on a lot of units, she'll start to blossom into a real power house. You can send her of alone without being to worried, because even though her defense still is pretty awful her speed is so high that they can't hit her most of the time anyway.

#6

Ewan from Fire emblem: Sacred stones.

Fire emblem Sacred stones introduces the trainee class. Basically Trainees start out as these total weaklings with high growth rates, but upon reaching level ten they promote into a normal unit. This basically lets Trainees get an extra ten levels that everyone else doesn't get. Combine this with the fact that for the first time in the series the game let's you chose what class you want to promote into, and Ewan is an awesome character. He does start under leveled, but he's not really hard to level. But he is mostly just powerful because he starts as a Trainee.

How do you pronounce his name?

#5

Ross from Fire emblem: Sacred stones.

Being from a game where most of the worthwhile characters tend to be Lance users, and Mages, Ross ends up being the best Axe user in the game. Ross is also a member of the Trainee class and becomes AMAZING. But mostly because of the same reasons as Ewan.

Seriously is it like pronounced Ian like Ewan Mcgregor? Or is Pronounced E-wayne?

#4

Cormag from Fire emblem: Sacred stones.

Cormag is the only Wyvern rider you can get in Sacred stones, and out of all the Lance users in the game he tends to be one of the best. His hit points are great, his Strength great, and his defense is great. His skill isn't as good as his other high stats but even that is good. His only problem areas are speed and resistance, but in the end those become pretty good too. He's just really good all around. The only reason I put him above Ross and Ewan is by the end of the game, he's almost just as good as both of them.

#3

Nephenee from Fire emblem: Path of Radiance.

For a while there you couldn't have soldiers on your team. You were first able to use them in Fire emblem Gaiden. But then you couldn't have a character who was the soldier class for many games afterward, so most of your Lance users tend to be Cavaliers, Pegasus knights, and Wyvern riders. But Path of Radiance lets you take control of a soldier again, and boy is she really powerful.

Nephenee has really high growths hit points, speed, and skill and tends to max them out. Her defense tends to be decent as well. Only really problem seems to be her strength, but that doesn't really matter as she can wreck most units in one or two hits anyway. So you should use her all the time.

#2

Nino from Fire emblem: Rekka no Ken.

Ah Nino. Nino joins really late in the game with high growth rates. She can be really hard to level up, because most of the units that late in the game are promoted, so you have to weaken them to let her get kills. But because of her high growths she ends up being the most powerful magic user in the game. At that point you have also gained an item that allows you to boost the growth rates of the character you use it on. If you use it on Nino her only real weakness defense becomes a nonissue, and all of her other stats become AMAZING.

Nino I love you.

Ah cute. Except she can't read! Silly fan art.

And Finally...

#1

Morgan from Fire emblem: Awakening.

Okay this is a little bit of a cop out, yes folks I have officially jumped the shark. I've never played Fire emblem: Awakening.

The only thing between me and this game is money, I have yet to buy a 3ds, and a copy of Awakening. But I watched other people play it, and also read up on it a ton. So please just bear with me.

In Awakening all of two of your character's reach an S rank in support, with the member of the opposite sex the two can get married. And without spoiling too much you can recruit the children of those couples. Those children will acquire the bonuses of the based on a combination on growth rates of their parents. That makes children characters very powerful.

Enter Morgan the child of the player made Avatar. With the Avatar being one of the most powerful units in the game, added with the fact that the Avatar can marry any other playable character in the game Morgan has the potential to be one of the most powerful units in the game. He/she can be pretty much any of the games classes, and can also have all of the skills, even gender exclusive skills. So He/she can become a real powerhouse.

So yeah that was my list of the top ten ridiculously powerful fire emblem characters. Thanks for reading it. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of Frozen Fire emblem February.

Poor Cormag doesn't get the girl in the end.
