Top Ten Ridiculously Useless Fire Emblem Characters.

Well it's February and that means Fire Emblem. Let's start this off right with my list of The Top Ten Ridiculously Useless Fire Emblem Characters. No rules for this one, let's just dive straight in.

#10

Rennac from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

Rennac isn't terrible by any means, but he just isn't good or worth using. He does have relatively good stats, but he just isn't as good as the games other thief type unit Colm.

Colm is a boss!

He is also a pre-promoted unit giving him less chance to level up and get really good stats. He does have a members card though, which allows you to enter the secret shops which is crucial.

#9

Knoll from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

Knoll isn't terrible either, but I just feel that Ewan is a better option to go with for a dark magic user. But while he isn't terrible he does get wrecked by most non-magic users.

#8

Marcus from Fire Emblem Rekka No Ken

Oh Marcus. How I hate you. Marcus is a pre-promoted unit that you practically start out with. Now if you were a newcomer to the series you would think, "Wow look at this guys stats, he is a total beast." But Marcus is baaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddd. Here is the problem: early game Marcus is awesome, but if you use him to kill everything in the beginning you are depriving your other units of the much needed experience. Next thing you know all you all of your other units are under leveled, and you keep losing. So the only thing Marcus that makes Marcus useful is that you can take away his weapons and make him a human meat shield.

#7

Fredrick from Fire Emblem Awakening

Fredrick suffers from the same problems as Marcus. Plus even if you change his class, (which is a new feature in Awakening,) he still isn't as good as your other units.

#6

Cecilia from Fire Emblem Binding Blade

Cecilia is also a pre-promoted unit, see the pattern here? Unlike Marcus and Fredrick however, Cecilia cannot be a human meat shield because her base stats are incredibly low. She also has really bad growth rates. She might actually be one of the most useless characters on this list, but I hate the most of these characters more.

#5

Sothe from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

Sothe is a thief who you think would be really awesome. He has this skill that makes him earn double experience. Sweet right, so what is the problem. Sother cannot be promoted, making him useless about half way through the game. I would have put him higher on this list if he wasn't awesome in Radiant Dawn.

#4

Dozla from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones.

The Berserker class may just be one of the coolest in all of Fire Emblem. So its a real shame when you get a pre-promoted one like Dozla. Sure he can deal some good damage, but he can't take a lot so he dies often.

#3

Ricken from Fire Emblem Awakening

Now admittedly Ricken is useful, if he would just stay alive! He is so frail when you get him, and not as good as Miriel if you have been using her. I just don't like him. If you do, I'm sorry because I just don't.

#2

Vaike from Fire Emblem Awakening

Vaike. I hate Vaike. Not only is he annoying, he is a Fighter, and Fighter almost always tend to be bad. But to make matters worse he starts with zero resistance, and with a growth rate of 10% making him useless against mages.

And Finally #1......

Mist from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

Mist, is by far my most hated character in all of Fire Emblem. She is a weak, frail, cleric with sub par growth rates. And if you want Nasir the Dragon you are going to have to use her. You get Nasir by defeating the Black Knight instead of fleeing from him. And you are going to need someone to heal Ike if you are going to achieve this, but the only other person you can take is Mist. I hate her so much! GAAAAHHHH!!!

Well that is it for this one, but keep checking back throughout the month of February for more posts related to Fire Emblem as well as F-Zero.

I HATE YOU MIST!
